You’re right that blogs are more personal, but there are some interesting examples of multi-user blogs, like BoingBoing. WordPress even has a separate system for this kind of blogging, called WordPress Multi-user. When I compare blogs with wikis, often I’ll say you need a common task for two or more people in order to start using a wiki. A blog can be started by one person.
